Accreditation for AMCsThe ANSI/AMC Institute Standard
Under the guidance of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), AMC Institute has launched a major initiative to upgrade recognition of the quality and competence of our AMC industry.
Members of the AMC Institute have developed a Standard of Good Practices for the Association Management Industry. The ANSI/ AMC Institute Standard assists professional association management companies (AMC) in the establishment of their own internal quality systems, and serves as the source document for the AMC Institute Accreditation Program. The AMC Institute Accreditation Program provides a process that every single AMC should consider going through. This process ensures that AMCs have documented policies and procedures in place that support quality standards and exceptional customer servicing of clients in the following areas:
An AMC Institute accredited AMC has invested significant time and money to meet or exceed the requirements, and organizations can be assured that accredited AMCs demonstrate a high level of professionalism and responsibility. Achievement of AMC Institute Accreditation demonstrates an AMC's commitment and ability to deliver consistent quality service to present and prospective clients.
